Ouch! Two Months Old

Today Caitlin turned 2 months old and to celebrate we visited the pediatrician’s office for her two month appointment. She continues to gain weight and is now at 11 lbs. 13 ozs. and is about 25 inches long – a tall girl! The two month appointment is also when vaccinations start, so Caitlin took one orally but then received four shots in her thighs – ouch! Some alligator tears later, she fell asleep on the way home. She was a bit fussy tonight but hey, she went through a lot today, right?! There were some new moms and babies in the group we went to today – one baby was 15 days old – what a good reminder of how much Caitlin has already changed and for us to cherish each moment, even the fussy ones.
