Caitlin will celebrate her three month birthday on Saturday – my how time flies! In looking back at her newborn pictures it is amazing how much she has already changed but we know much more is to come. We checked her weight today and she’s at 13 lbs 13 ozs – no wonder her car seat has been feeling a lot heavier these days! She has been filling out her three month onsies with no problem.
We were lucky to have Bob and Tina, Alex’s uncle and aunt, stay with us on their way to and from a short vacation in Utah. Stopping by on either end of the trip allowed them to see Caitlin over a couple week period and they said they saw some noticeable changes in just that short time.
We have been continuing to work through Caitlin’s eating and sleeping schedule – she definitely likes a routine and definitely does not like to be hot. All good things for us to know! Caitlin has been smiling, gurgling, cooing, and drooling a lot more these days. Catching the smile on camera has been elusive – she looks at me with a ‘Mom, what’s that?’ expression whenever I try to catch it, but we’ll keep at it.
